Dame Helen Mirren, 74-godišnja glumica, stigla je na premijeru filma Katarna Velika i to u stilu. Nije stigla samostalno, nego su ju donijeli. Glumica je sjedila u zatvorenom tronu, a držala su je četiri jaka muškarca.
Legendarna glumica je izgledala, za nju, standarno kraljevski - u prsluku u stilu dinastije Tudor, širokim crnim hlačama i s ogrlicom koja je blještala. Sudeći po izrazu na njezinom licu, Dame Helen bila je jako svjesna svoga izgleda.
Kada su spustili stolac na crveni tepih, jedan od muškaraca glumici je otvorio vrata, a ubrzo su joj se pridružili i kolege s filma Kevin McNally, Gina McKee, and Jason Clarke.
U filmu inače igra rusku caricu Katarinu koja je u Rusiji vladala u 18. stoljeću. Vladarica je inače vrlo poznata po aferama, kako u političkom tako i u ljubavnom životu, a mnogi se slažu - nisu mogli zamisliti bolji odabir od famozne Helen.
The Red star is playing 18th century Russian Empress Catherine, who ruled from 1762-1796, the country’s longest-ruling female leader. Known for the affairs of the state as well as the affairs of the heart, the show will present the famous empress’ politics, her wars, and her love life.

After she alighted from her royal ride, Helen walked the red carpet posing for photos. She didn’t let a little thing like a premiere stop her from answering her phone in front of the cameras and taking a quick call. On the carpet she was joined by her co-stars Kevin McNally, Gina McKee, and Jason Clarke.
